Today on VizX’s The Mod Shop – Spotlight: BuddyClub

Thursday, March 27th, 2008

Hello Everyone, welcome to another segment of The Mod Shop!

Today I am covering a company that may or may not sound familiar to you, I have seen this name all over ebay for their body kits, you may have also, but did you know they are a company that offers a large amount of products? They don’t just do body kits, as a matter of fact They do much more then just that!

The Company is called bc and they offer

  • Racing Rims
  • Exhaust Pieces
  • Suspension Components
  • Headers
  • Electronics

And thats just being vague about it! Tell ya what, go to their website http://www.buddyclub.us/ and you will see just what I’m talking about.

Well today I am covering something your motor needs to to get a stronger RPM power band and to help you attain more HP in general, and that is Cam Shafts! The Buddyclub cam shafts im speaking of today are for your Mitsubishi 4G63 Motor(Lancer Evolution). You see, with the guru’s at buddy club every camshaft is carefully built, as well as they have to go through a strict inspection so they can make sure only the highest quality cam’s are being shipped to you. The method to their madness is to coat the surface of the camshaft with a manganese phosphate. This will protect the cam shaft even before its been lubricated. They did this by using a steeping press and that produces a thin layer of manganese phosphate on its surface to prevent damage from direct contact with other metal parts while maintaining smooth and reliable operation.

Here are the photos of these cams that buddy club sells:

  • Lancer Evolution IV – VIII

  • Lancer Evolution IX

For Specs please visit their website by going to http://www.buddyclub.us/ then clicking on “products”, on the 3rd row all the way on the right hand side “Racing Spec Parts” and select the motor that your looking for (4G63 is in the top row).

Thanks for coming back to another edition of The Mod Shop.

If you like what you read today and are interested in purchasing a set of these cams for your Evo, you can contact them at info@buddyclub.us

Always remember, no matter how much or how little HP/TQ your car or truck puts down, please keep it safe and keep it on the track, not on the streets!!

This is VizX and you have just been modded!

See you next Thursday Right here on FlyToyz!!
