Which Smartphone Do You Use?
Monday, March 31st, 2008There are many different smartphones on the market these days, some of the major ones would be the Treo, Blackberry, and the iPhone.
Below are the Blackberry 8800 and the Treo 700p:
The Blackberry and Treo have always been the tried and true business phones for Corporate America. Which of these two you would choose would all depend on your taste. I have owned both a Treo and a Blackberry and must say I would personally choose the Blackberry out of the two based on usability. I enjoyed the touch screen on the Treo and if you choose the one that is Palm based there are a ton of aftermarket apps that you can download to the phone, but the features and usability of the Blackberry far exceeded my love of the touchscreen and add-on apps.
Enter the iPhone:

The iPhone entered the market by storm and has a massive fan base. The phone was not initially received by the Corporate world as a possible replacement to the Blackberry or Treo, but those seas may change with features that are being added to the iPhone that can make it a viable competitor to the Blackberry and Treo. More information on this is available at the Gartner website.
I must say after handling an iPhone I am very impressed. The only thing keeping me from running out and buying one is the keyboard and the rumors of a new 3G model becoming available soon.
These are just a few of the smartphones on the market today…there are many, many other smartphones out there.
My question to you is which one do you use and why?
